April Business of the Month: Brian Head Outdoor Adventures

As your helpful guide to the ultimate Brian Head vacation, we're dedicated to helping you find the best companies to complement your trip. That's why we're excited to announce the continuation of our Business of the Month series!

April showers bring May flowers, which isn't nearly as exciting as the May 2021 re-opening of Brian Head Outdoor Adventures, Brian Head's local resource for rugged off-roading. This family owned and operated UTV rental company has been helping locals and visitors explore our area off the beaten path since 2016. They're currently closed for the winter, but will return to helping adventurers of all ages craft the ultimate UTV experience next month.

What They Offer

UTV Rentals. Brian Head Outdoor Adventures is a Certified Outfitter of Polaris Utility Terrain Vehicles (UTVs). They offer Polaris RZR or Ranger rentals that are loaded with comfort features like power steering, shocks suspension, and fully automatic transmissions for a smooth and steady ride. Their UTVs range in size from single to six seaters and can be rented by the hour, by the day, or for multi-day fun. They'll even deliver them to your location with a rental of eight hours!

Self-Guided Tours. Once you secure your UTV, it's time to hit the trails. You can carve your own path, but many prefer to follow one of the scenic trails that begins right at the Brian Head Outdoor Adventures storefront. They take you to some of the best hidden gems in the area and are perfect for riders of all ages and skill levels.

Their most popular self-guided tour is High Mountain Overlook. Armed with a trusty map (and preferably a packed picnic lunch), you'll set out on a two-hour adventure that leads you to three picturesque overlooks, a flowing forest waterfall, and the enormous cliffs that overlook the backside of Cedar Breaks National Monument. From here, you can return to the trailhead or extend your ride by detouring to Yankee Meadow Reservoir for a glimpse of the colorful Grand Castle Formation.

Area Maps. If you prefer to blaze a path to parts unknown, the friendly staff at Brian Head Outdoor Adventures can get you started with detailed maps of some of the best off-roading trails in the area, including Bryce Canyon, Coral Pink Dunes, and Mammoth Cave. As long-time locals, they can even give you guidance on the can't-miss and don't-risk areas along the way.

Two Locations. Brian Head Outdoor Adventures has rental locations in Brian Head and Panguitch Lake. In Brian Head, you'll have easy access to some of the best mountain trails in Southern Utah and be close to the conveniences of the city. In Panguitch Lake, you can take advantage of the wide and wild trails of the Dixie National Forest before heading to the lake for fishing, swimming, kayaking, and more.
